NewsBook on the Prevention of Violent Extremism out now!

The Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy in partnership with the Agencia Española de Cooperacion Internacional el Desarollo (AECID) proudly announces the release of their book on the prevention of violent extremism titled, “Ramadi to Marawi – Proceedings of the Conference on Peace and the Prevention of Violent Extremism in Southeast Asia” which was  launched last May 16, 2018 at the Kalayaan Hall of Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan.

The book features the discussions and actionable recommendations from the successful two-day conference held last September 2017 wherein participants from the ASEAN region came together and urged governments to adopt national action plans to prevent violent extremism that is inclusive and sensitive to specific contexts of local areas.
