We mourn the passing of a great Senator of this Republic of the Philippines, and adviser to the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy, Senator SANTANINA TILLAH RASUL. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. The late ๐’๐ž๐ง๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐’๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ง๐š ๐“๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐‘๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ, a trailblazer and staunch advocate for women’s empowerment, education, and peace. As the first and only Muslim woman senator of the Philippines, she championed the rights of the marginalized, tirelessly working to uplift communities and pave the way for equality and understanding. Her unwavering dedication continues to inspire us as we strive to uphold the values she so passionately stood for. May her memory guide our mission forward.
